Empire Cake

It has gotten to a point where any time someone spots a bakery, they yell 'BAKERY' and we all head straight towards it. Today on route to the the High Line, a bakery was spotted, and there we went.

Clearly, amazing.

This baby was on display as part of their valentines day display. It turned. Amazeballs.

Ordering may or may not have been the hardest decision of my entire life. So we decided to all get something different, and have a bite of each.

Amelia had a chocolate cake, dipped in chocolate. As it sounds, it was nom.

Em had a red velvet cake dipped in white chocolate, and some how it had cream cheese in the middle. I don't know how it got there but it was genius.

Mum chose Empire cake's take on the famous New York dessert of the black and white cookie. It was more cake than cookie though, but still good.

I had a chocolate and salted caramel cupcake, and uh, was probably the best cupcake I've ever had. Writing about it brings tears to my eyes. So amazing, everything a cupcake should be.

SO SNAPS FOR YOU EMPIRE CAKE. Favourite place so far.
