Museum of Jewish Heritage

Today (28th) was cold and miserable. It rained and turned the once glorious snow to slush. We saw it as a museum kind of day, and after a sleep in, headed to the Museum of Jewish Heritage.

There was an amazing view across the river as we walked to the Museum from the train.

I liked the view of the Statue of Liberty hiding in the fog.

Daughter Smurf.

Then it was the Museum. It was full of amazing artefacts of Jewish History across the world. Very eye opening and powerful, especially the Holocaust section, as expected. It was very quiet, so we pretty much had the Museum to ourselves.

It was such a wet and miserable day, that we headed home after the museum, as we had a BIG day planned for tomorrow!
