Paris, France

7th, 8th and 9th of September

Today we arrived into Paris from Iceland! It was the afternoon by the time we managed to trek to our hotel via the metro, staying at a hostel called 'The Loft'. We settled in and made pesto pasta for dinner, catching up on some sleep with an early night!

The next day, we caught the metro into the city to meet up with a walking tour. The tour took us to all the famous places in Paris.

After the tour we found a little french bakery and bought a baguette (ordered completely in broken French and the lady thought we were locals!) and some nutella and sat in the shade of the Eiffel Tower.

After, we went and visited Notre Dame. It was so so beautiful and we were lucky enough to witness some of Sunday mass! It was enchanting and beautiful.

We caught the metro back to our hostel in Belleville, at more pasta and crashed!

The next day was a bit of a wet and miserable so we headed for the Lourve! We skipped the lines by finding a side entrance and managed to get free entry! We headed straight for the Italian Masters section and of course the Mona Lisa.

We hung out around Paris city and then back at our hostel before heading to Montmarte for a tour! It was so great to walk around this area and hear all the history. We visited the Moulin Rouge, Da Vinci's house, churches, cobble stone streets and many artisit's residences!

The view from up here was MIND BLOWING.

After the tour Bridget and I went to see the Eiffel Tower at night. We saw it glitter at 10pm and then walked up the hill to see it against the night sky.

Paris, why are so so magical?
